Don't worry about anything instead pray about everything . . . . .

He actually said not to worry about ANYTHING.
Can you imagine?

Seems so far fetched and out there that only a God of faith could even dare to utter it.

Is it even possible, Lord??!!

Well, if we believe in the premise of God being just, we have to accept the fact that He would only require us to do those things that He gives us the grace ability to do.

Actually, the ability to accomplish the seemingly impossible is found through the force of faith that is released from God's Word as we act on it believing.

So yes my friend it is possible. The question is are you going to choose to believe that He is faithful to His promises.

How??

. . . .By praying in faith instead of living in fear and worry.

Trusting means that you leave your worries at the alter fully assured that God's got your back and He's working out His deliverance in your life.

You see faith is not just abstract and intellectual agreement. It is an action that moves forward on a foundation of solid truth. Always moving ahead into a deeper and more clearly defined understanding of the The nature of the Godhead as revealed through the Son, Jesus Christ.

6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

So I challenge you give up a life of fruitless worry and live a life of abundant peace by trusting in God through His Living Word.

Hi all,

I just tweeted that I would donate 45% of sales of any of my t-shirts towards the cause of freedom in Iran. I believe that we need to do something on a solely humanitarian basis and not politicize the suffering of others.

That's the idea behind this pledge.
It's an attempt to not be so selfish but use my gift to impact the world at large.
I will post all Sales totals at the end of each week I actually record a sale right here on this blog and also the amount collected to donate will be posted as well.

I pray this works out for the best.
Watch and see.

The Bible teaches that as anyone has received a gift let him be faithful to minister it to others by the grace of God 1 Peter 4:

I believe that with giftedness comes responsibility. It is not enough to express ourselves . Our expressiveness should not be solely self serving but should be used as medium of service and for the betterment of humanity. Does this mean we create with joyless duty? not at all, the deepest joy is sharing our gifts and inspiring others. The integration of the arts in the furtherance of the Kingdom lends it self to this exchange. Research has shown that the more senses that are engaged during the learning process the more of the material is retained. What's more important than learning and retaining the story of God's redemptive grace.

I love the visual arts. I am not just a theorist;I am a practitioner. I have over fifteen years of practical experience utilizing the arts in learning and storytelling. I have participated in the process as a student, a instructor,a professional illustrator, graphic designer and fine artist. I am actively and consciously involved in the inclusion of the arts as a means of learning and healing. I have grappled with the practicality of including various elements of art therapy in the learning process to address the occurrence of behavioral issues in the classroom. I enjoy watching little children learn. Seeing them first enter that special place that only creating can take you is a reward all it's own. Now through my own children ,of which two are aspiring artists, I get to experience first hand the innocent joy of discovery. Each day it's something new as they too fall in love with the aesthetic simplicity of God's wondrous world. I believe that our body of work and not isolated artifacts speak volumes about who we are as people and help to define our place in the world. I get to share this with my little proteges everyday. I get to form within these little souls good stewardship over their God-given gifts and an attitude of service to there fellowman. What better medium for these lofty goals then the deep transcending beauty of the creative process. I can, on very practical and personal, level find out what works and why. I have a vested interest in integrating learning through the arts because these little crafts-people are my legacy and testimony. I want to take this same passion and understanding and use my gifts as a vehicle of Grace and Redemption. Drawing my fellow man to the beauty of holiness and bringing glory to God through the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Some work I did for a never publish book about race . . . I used rabbits and hares!!!!

Another book I did on greed. I used mice as the characters. The funny thing is we had mice that ate up most of my drawings.

Go figure.

Here's a little character I created for my kids. His name is Satchel. Haven't done much with him yet.

This is my representation of Choco-brown Beauty. It just hit me one night and I finished in about forty minutes.

Here is my take on the suffering Savior. I called it finished but was never quite happy with it.

Well that's that for now. Maybe I'll hit it big and can go back to what I love. Somehow taking tech support calls for Ipaq handhelds is not what I had in mind when I graduate with a BFA!!!!
